Wintonbury Hills Golf Course Primed for 2019 Golf Season

Pete Dye masterpiece set to open on Friday.

(BLOOMFIELD, Conn.)Wintonbury Hills Golf Course – the only Pete Dye designed course in New England – will open for play on Friday, Mar. 29 with Mayor Suzette DeBeatham-Brown set to take the ceremonial first tee shot.

Opened in 2004, Wintonbury Hills represents Dye's first and only championship design in New England. Just last year, the beautiful layout was ranked No. 1 in Golfweek’s “Best Courses You Can Play in Connecticut.”

“We look forward to hosting Mayor DeBeatham-Brown as we begin our 16th season serving the local community,” says Ciaran Carr, general manager of Wintonbury Hills Golf Course. “Wintonbury Hills looks forward to continuing to be the premier golf and events destination in the Hartford area.”
